The Discover® Open Road(SM) Card, issued by Discover, is designed for those with very good credit who would like to earn cash rewards on gas and auto maintenance expenses.
Through the reward program, cardholders earn a full 2% Cashback Bonus on your first $250 in combined gas and restaurant purchases each billing period. In addition, you'll earn a full 1% unlimited Cashback Bonus on all other purchases after your total annual purchases exceed $3,000, and other purchases that are part of your first $3,000 will earn .25%. Combined gas and restaurant purchases in excess of $250 each billing period earn Cashback Bonus at the same rate as other purchases.
There is no yearly limit on the amount of rebates that can be earned, and rebates do not expire as long as the account is active within a 36-month period.
